Ayurvedic principle is our approach to lifestyle choices, herbal medicine, foods and so much more help ease acute and chronic health problems, coping with the demands of daily life.

Ayurvedic Lifestyle is all about our routine, we rise at the same time, eat at the same time and sleep at the same time daily, making sure we take regular breaks for fresh air, getting outside amongst nature and following a balanced diet.

If you struggle switching off there are things you can be doing to avoid the feeling of overwhelm such as

restoring your health with a more holistic approach.

 

We want to ensure our cortisol levels are balanced, cortisol determines our sleep, wake up, energy, weight, & immune system.

 

So, apart from being more consciously aware, what can we be doing to help ourselves thrive? 

A good start is in choosing adrenal support calming supplements to increase the melatonin especially nearer bed time.  

Here are some examples of sleep aids we can try, Epsom Salts, great for detoxifying and lymphatic drainage, works wonders after a power yoga class or strengthening types of exercise as a natural muscle relaxant.

 

Pure Lavender Oil, add a few drops into the palm of your hand and rub gently into the soles of your feet, the key absorption points or add a few drops to the underside of your pillow before bed time.

 

Sip on a decaffeinated camomile tea, meditate, use the first and last half an hour of your day in stillness with self.
